It's the beginning of Football season! I'll be honest: I've been an Alabama fan my whole life (yes, even in the dark times: no bandwagon here). They play heavyweight football, and I love a good powerful, defensive bout. However, there are other fast teams, like Oregon that are fun to watch as well. I got to thinking, there are two ways to go fast on a track as well: Heavyweights with a lot of power, or lightweights that don't need dabs of the brakes. I prefer heavy hitters in football, but featherweights on the track. How about you?

Oregon is on pace to put up 96 points on this poor Nicholls State...
Oh, to answer your question...I don't enjoy football, but I prefer light nimble cars. Go kart handling, lightning fast wheels at the corners. The Elise pictured above is a fine example of a fantastically fun car.

I wonder what the record for hardest beat down is... (points wise)

Ducks beat Colorado last season 70-14 and Arizona State beat Northern Arizona 63-6 last season. Arizona beat South Carolina 56-0 then lost to the Ducks 49-0 in the next game last season...
That's all I can think of. There were some blowouts last season for sure.
Oh, OK State beat Savannah State 84-0 too....

The West Coast is all about some offense

I object to your choice of photo. The Lotus really isn't that heavy.

The top picture was in Pensacola, over by Perdido key, wasn't it?

You're kidding right? The Lotus is the lightweight in comparison to a 3200lbs corvette...

No clue. Google Imaged it. However I've been there, and I think you might be right. That sand and that Bridge looks right

And the Corvette is a lightweight compared to its contemporaries. It's not a good choice for "heavyweight." I highlighted this with a winking comment; I guess it slipped past you.

Gotcha. Yeah I wan't offended. Just confused. I agree with you though. Unfortunately when live in a time where people get hot and bothered over anything that's less than 3200 lbs. However, compared to an elise, this would be more of a brute force kind of experience, rather than a high G, low load, high momentum corner taker.

It's only brute force because the brute is available :) but I know what you mean. And there aren't any good photos of an Elise with a Murcielago...
These days I'm enjoying the heavyweight approach on wheels (CTS-V wagon) — it's like a fullback or inside linebacker on the loose.

Its funny you mentioned the Murcielago because that's the picture I set out to find when I found this one
